Chillon Castle’s teams were seeking a solution to address the following challenges:
- Alleviate the workload of the monument’s teams in providing practical information;
- Assist visitors in preparing for their visit;
- Disseminate historical knowledge in an engaging way and promote the castle’s activities.
Our solution :
Working closely with the monument’s teams, we developed a practical information chatbot named Bonne of Bourbon. This historical figure from the castle’s history provides information to visitors 24/7 in three different languages.
After the implementation of this artificial intelligence-powered tool, the teams were able to draw a positive initial assessment. The chatbot assists an average of 1,100 users per month, allowing the Chillon Castle teams to save between 400 and 500 hours per year. These hours can then be allocated to tasks with higher added value. Additionally, users can find information in less than a minute.
