Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle: Reducing the number of incoming calls from visitors of a castle

Header chateau de vaux le vicomte

Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle, a gem of the 17th century near Paris, embodies the French classical style. Commissioned by Nicolas Fouquet, it is famous for its architecture and magnificent gardens.

With more than 300,000 visitors every year, the switchboard operators at the Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle were answering an excessive amount of similar requests. The castle management was looking to automate these tedious tasks and provide visitors with the necessary information within an easy-to-use experience.

Developping an intuitive
tool for the public

In collaboration with Vaux-le-Vicomte’s communication department, we set up an information and support solution capable of answering instantly all visitor’s requests on the castle’s site. It takes the form of a chatbot named Jean de la Fontaine. Access to the information is easier and the castle’s events and services are better promoted.
